My 1001 days are up and there were 71 items on the list that weren't fulfilled.  This means that the Heifer Project is getting $71.

Oh... and the baby?  Born April 7th instead so it falls within the boundaries.  :)

Goals 009, 017, 028, 038, 040, 054, 065, 066, 068, 070, and 074

It's been more than a year since I've updated and I decided to see what goals I accomplished.  I'm very pleasantly surprised to see that I accomplished these..

009. Visit Glacier National Park.

I went to St. Mary's Lake with my parents and have gone through a few other times.

017. Perform a sacred classical work with an ensemble.

Vivaldi's Gloria with St. Luke's choir in 2007.

028. Get an IPod.

Her name is Panimatushka and she's a green iPod 8GB nano that I've had since March.

039. Have a child.

My due date is June 20, 2009.

040. Sort through my boxes of papers.

Done.

054. Acquire a "work wardrobe".

Thank you Lands' End, L.L. Bean, and Old Navy.

065. Get the cats caught up on their shots.

August 2007 to be precise.

066. Get caught up on all my health stuff (shots, dentist, etc.)

I got caught up on everything that I'm allowed to do.

068. Go a month without drinking soda.

This would be Lent 2008.  Not going to be repeated thankyouverymuch.

070. Give money to public radio.

I am a member of Yellowstone Public Radio.

074. Make a blanket for Project Linus at least yearly until the end of this meme.

Done.

043: Give a lecture to a college/university group.

I'm going to count team-teaching Koine Greek to the guys at the prison as they're working through Global University.  :)

101. Sort out clothes for charity every time I go shopping.

Sorted out 7 1/2 bags of clothes between Jon and I.

Goals 035 and 069

  • Mar 12, 2007
  • Post a comment

Goal 035: Make bandages for Global Health Ministries.

This is called "Jen's Lenten Discipline for 2007".  I've got 4 done so far and my aim is at least 10.

Goal 069: Have a letter published in the local paper.

I wrote a letter in response to two people who urged "Christians to 'choose life'."  My response was to write with ways that one could choose life and make an informed decision.

Goal 088

  • Dec 5, 2006
  • Post a comment

Goal 088: Send out Christmas cards to family and friends.

I mailed them out this morning.  They aren't all the same card (since I have some people who aren't Christmas people) but hey... they're all out and I've finally done this for the first time ever.

Goal 019: Participate in NaNoWriMo.

I won.  See?

I did 50,000 words over a period of 20 days (masomenos -- there were days when I didn't write).  It was fun but I'm glad it's over.

  • Post a comment

Goal 089: Put $20.00 a month in my change jar on WhatGoesAround.Org for a year.

OK... so this one is now impossible because WGA combined with Network for Good.  I'll still donate $20 a month -- it'll just be different.
